1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Shapemo, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Use of Service

Shapemo provides tools for creating geometric shape-based designs. You may use the service for:

  • Personal creative projects
  • Educational purposes

Commercial Use Prohibited

You may NOT use Shapemo designs or build instructions for commercial purposes. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Selling physical products (such as brick/tile art builds) made using Shapemo designs
  • Offering build services or commissioned work using designs from Shapemo
  • Selling or redistributing digital design files or build instructions
  • Using designs for commercial advertising, marketing materials, or client work

You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purpose or to create content that violates applicable laws or third-party rights.

3. Credits and Payments

Shapemo uses a credit system for AI-powered features:

Credit Usage

Credits are consumed when using AI generation features. Basic editing tools are free.

Purchases

Credit purchases are non-refundable. Credits do not expire.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

4. User Content Ownership and Warranties

You retain all ownership rights in the content you upload to Shapemo ("User Content").

By uploading User Content, you represent and warrant that:

  • Originality: The User Content is your original creation or you have obtained all necessary licenses, consents, and permissions from the copyright owner to use and distribute it.
  • Non-Infringement: Your User Content does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other legal rights of any third party.
  • Legality: The content does not include instructions or designs for the manufacturing of illegal weapons or regulated hazardous items.

5. Licensing and Usage Rights

  • License to Shapemo: You grant Shapemo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, and transferable license to host, store, and display your User Content for the purpose of providing and promoting our services.
  • License to Other Users: Unless otherwise specified by a specific license selected during upload (e.g., Creative Commons), all User Content published to the community is shared under the "Shapemo Standard Digital License".

Shapemo Standard Digital License

This license permits other users to download and use the design for personal, non-commercial use only. This means you may build the design for personal enjoyment, as a gift, or for display in your home. You may NOT sell, offer for sale, or use designs for any commercial purpose, including selling physical products built from these designs (such as brick art, tile mosaics, or similar physical builds). Redistribution of digital files is strictly prohibited.

  • Our Service: The Shapemo application, code, and branding are property of MetaLeap LLC.
  • MetaLeap Commercial Rights: MetaLeap LLC reserves the right to enter into commercial licensing agreements, partnerships, and collaborations with intellectual property holders, brands, and other business partners. This includes the right to produce, sell, or license physical products, merchandise, or other commercial offerings in cooperation with such partners. These commercial activities by MetaLeap are separate from and do not affect the non-commercial use restrictions that apply to individual users.

6. Copyright Infringement & Takedown Policy

Shapemo respects intellectual property rights. If we receive a valid notice of copyright infringement, we reserve the right to:

  • Remove or disable access to the infringing material immediately.
  • Terminate the accounts of "repeat infringers" (users with two or more confirmed violations).
  • Seek legal recourse if the violation causes significant harm to the platform.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shapemo and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or legal fees (including attorney's fees) arising out of your violation of any third-party copyrights or these Terms.

You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for any legal consequences resulting from the content you upload.

8. Account Responsibilities

When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Keep your login credentials secure
  • Notify us of any unauthorized access
  • Not share your account with others

9. Limitation of Liability

Shapemo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free service
  • Results from AI-generated content
  • Preservation of data in case of service issues

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MetaLeap LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Shapemo at any time for:

  • Violation of these terms
  • Abuse of the service or other users
  • Non-payment of applicable fees

You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings.
